Everyday we are inundated from all sides with the demands that we need to “conform” to a world society or world type of thought. Many in our government from both sides state or suggest that we need to be more like this “country” or look at (insert european country of your choice) and how they run healthcare. Or worse yet we have our judicial branch looking to other countries laws and try to impose those on our own, regardless of our constitution and or the laws that we already have. These actions remove us from our core values as a nation, the reason people left europe and came here to america. The days of people wanting to leave their native land to come to america for the “dream” the American Dream are dwindling. We are a nation of ideas and also a nation that questions ideas. We are a people that always looks to better themselves, to work hard to gain their goals. We are non-conformists. We do not need to conform to the ideas of a group in the government that wants us to just because the rest of the world will think better of us. We are loosing our identity. We are all becoming “wards” of our state. From the cradle to the grave big brother is always there. I have a problem with this. We are being led by a group of transnationalists who will impose their elite idealistic views to trash our constitution and laws. We the people should always have a way to go back and hold someone accountable for their actions. When we have our government putting our future in the hand of an international body that has no accountability to us the people of the United States, thus loosing our sovereignty. We need to wake up and look at our governments actions and speak out. Our government needs a change and 2010 can not come fast enough. We need to make our voice’s loud and clear and remove our state representatives from office when they do not uphold the Constitution and laws of The United States. Let them know that you are well aware that there is a checks and balance system in our government. Let them know that you fully understand each role of government and who is responsible for each part. These people take an oath to uphold the Constitution and when they do not preform to those standards they should be fired, not bailed out by their respective party.
